The Tando Adam Press Club (Registered) has successfully concluded its elections for the 2026 term, with a new team of office-bearers elected unopposed in a consensus-driven process.
New Leadership Takes Charge Unopposed
The pivotal general body meeting was held on Sunday, where members gathered to decide the club's future leadership. The election process was overseen by a dedicated committee, ensuring a smooth and transparent transition of power.
Rana Mukhtar was elected as the President without any opposition, demonstrating the trust and confidence the journalistic community has in his leadership. Similarly, Ashiq Hussain Saand secured the position of General Secretary unopposed, setting the stage for a harmonious tenure.
Complete Team Elected by Consensus
The spirit of unity prevailed as the general body, through mutual agreement, filled all key positions. The newly elected office-bearers for the 2026 term are as follows:
- Vice-President: Raziq Dino Mirepoto
- Joint Secretary: Malik Ahsan Ghori
- Finance Secretary: Muhammad Suleman Saand
- Office Secretary: Munawar Ali Qureshi
Furthermore, the governing body will be strengthened with the inclusion of Waseem Farooqi, Imdad Rahi, Umar Farooq Qureshi, and Javed Mustafa as elected members.
