In a significant blow to organized crime, the Muzaffargarh police have scored a major victory with the arrest of multiple criminal gang members and the recovery of stolen goods valued at millions of rupees.

Major Police Operation on City Outskirts

The successful crackdown was executed by the Khan Garh Police in the outskirts of Muzaffargarh. According to Police Focal Person Waseem Khan Gopang, this operation led to the dismantling of seven active criminal networks involved in theft and robbery across the district.

Recovered Property and Public Appreciation

A press conference was held at the Khan Garh Police Station where DSP Sadar Circle Mirza Muhammad Sadiq and SHO Khan Garh Akhtar Hajbani presented the recovered items. The haul, with a total value of Rs. 4.3 million, included:

  • Seven motorcycles
  • Six heads of livestock
  • Motor pumps and solar panels
  • Gold jewelry and cash
  • Illegal weapons

This property was linked to 65 registered cases and was formally handed back to the rightful owners during the event. Appreciating the police performance, local political and social figures, along with the complainants, honored the police team by presenting flower garlands and sweets.

District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah praised the police teams for their outstanding and professional efforts in combating crime.
