A delegation from the Crime Reporters Association (CRA) met with City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain on Tuesday to further strengthen coordination and professional relations between the police and the journalist community.

Delegation Members and Key Discussions

The CRA delegation included President Atif Siddique Kahloon, General Secretary Abdul Saboor, Senior Vice President Bilal Sikandar Baloch, Finance Secretary Mahmood Ahmed, Joint Secretary Umar Raza, Information Secretary Rubab Cheema, and members Mian Muhammad Zeeshan, Shehroz Ibad, Akhtar Abbas Akhtar, Faizan Khalid, Asif Sakhi, Rabia Manj, Rana Hina Jameel, Shakeel Ahmed, Sheikh Tariq, Sheikh Tahir, and others.

During the meeting, CRA President Atif Siddique Kahloon apprised the CPO of the issues faced by field journalists and stressed the need for joint efforts by the police and the media to eliminate crime, maintain a peaceful environment, and counter the spread of misinformation.

CPO Tanveer Hussain assured the delegation of full cooperation and reiterated the importance of a strong relationship between law enforcement and the media. He emphasized that accurate reporting and timely information sharing are crucial for effective crime prevention and public safety.
