Khairpur Police Implements Comprehensive Security for Al Quds Rallies and Friday Prayers
Under the directives of Deputy Inspector General of Police Sukkur Range Nasir Aftab and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khairpur Dr. Samiullah Soomro, extensive security arrangements were meticulously organized across the district to ensure peace and order during Al Quds rallies on Friday. The police force was strategically deployed at key locations, including mosques, Imambargahs, and along rally routes, with officers and personnel performing their duties diligently to provide complete protection to citizens during Friday prayers and Youm-e-Quds gatherings.
Enhanced Security Measures and Patrols
Security measures were significantly bolstered with increased police mobile patrols at critical locations and additional personnel stationed in sensitive areas. Police teams actively monitored the surroundings of mosques and Imambargahs to promptly address any untoward incidents, ensuring a swift response to potential threats. All Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) conducted thorough reviews of security arrangements in their respective sub-divisions, inspecting and briefing personnel at various sites to reinforce preparedness.
Professional Duty Performance and Law Enforcement
Officers were directed to perform their duties responsibly and professionally, emphasizing the importance of maintaining law and order throughout the events. Khairpur Police ensured that all necessary measures were in place for citizens' safety and district security, demonstrating a commitment to public welfare. In a related enforcement action, 51 shopkeepers were fined a total of Rs112,000 for profiteering in Shaheed Benazirabad, highlighting ongoing efforts to uphold regulations and protect consumer interests.
