DC Kambar-Shahdadkot Engages with District Bar on Civic and Security Matters
In a significant move to foster administrative and legal collaboration, Deputy Commissioner of Kambar-Shahdadkot district, Imdad Ali Abro, visited the District Bar Association Kambar on Friday. The visit was at the invitation of the newly elected President, Advocate Noorullah Rind, and involved a meeting with the newly elected body at the District Sessions court, where the DC extended his congratulations.
Call for Unity Against Anti-State Propaganda
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Abro highlighted the crucial role that both the District Bar Association and the district administration must play in countering anti-state propaganda through mutual cooperation. He emphasized that such collaboration is essential to eradicate anti-state elements, protect the young generation from harmful conspiracies, and ensure the success of state policies. These remarks were made during a seminar organized at the District Bar Kambar, focusing on the District Coordination Committee IPVE/CPVE KPIs, which also included a public hearing to address complaints from government employees and pensioners.
Commitment to Resolving Civic Issues
In response to complaints raised by the District Bar regarding encroachments, cleanliness, health facilities, and other urban problems, the Deputy Commissioner assured that all legitimate issues would be addressed on a priority basis. He stressed the importance of providing every possible facility to citizens and called for the District Bar's cooperation in removing illegal encroachments, resolving drainage and cleanliness problems, and ensuring the availability of doctors, paramedical staff, and medicines to improve health services in the district.
Demands from the District Bar
On this occasion, members of the District Bar put forward several demands to enhance justice and civic welfare. They called for the establishment of a Social Justice Forum to provide speedy and inexpensive justice to poor and underprivileged individuals who cannot afford legal representation. Additionally, they requested improvements to the District Bar library, including the provision of books, as well as efforts to improve the law and order situation in the city and ensure the protection of citizens' lives and property. Deputy Commissioner Abro assured them of full support in these endeavors.
Infrastructure Development and Public Access
Speaking about broader city concerns, the Deputy Commissioner discussed the construction work on the Kambar-Shahdadkot to Larkana dual carriageway, promising that it would be completed without any pressure and that any conspiracies against it would be foiled. He noted that this project would benefit travelers between Larkana and Kambar-Shahdadkot and help solve traffic problems. Furthermore, the DC directed all district officers to keep their offices open to the public and resolve legitimate issues promptly to prevent hardships for ordinary people.
Praise for Open Governance Initiatives
The newly elected body of the District Bar Kambar commended Deputy Commissioner Abro for holding open Kachahris (open courts), where common people can present their problems directly to the district administration for easy resolution. This initiative has been praised for enhancing transparency and accessibility in governance.
