Key Appointments and Transfers

Syeda Shafaq Hashmi, a Grade-19 Pakistan Administrative Service officer, has been appointed as joint secretary in the Establishment Division. Previously, she served as joint secretary in the Senate Secretariat, bringing considerable parliamentary experience to her new role.

In another significant move, Naila Baqir has been transferred from her position as joint secretary in the Establishment Division to the Housing and Works Division. This lateral movement represents part of the broader restructuring strategy.

Majid Ali Pehnwar, who previously served as joint secretary for poverty alleviation, has been posted as joint secretary in the Establishment Division. His experience in social welfare programs is expected to contribute to his new responsibilities.

Additional Senior-Level Changes

Aamir Hussain Ghazi has been promoted from deputy secretary in the Poverty Alleviation division to joint secretary in the Establishment Division under Section 10 of the relevant rules. This represents a significant career advancement for the officer.

The Establishment Division will also welcome Piyar Ali Lakho, a Grade-18 officer currently serving in the Sindh Government, who has been appointed as deputy secretary. This appointment brings provincial government experience to the federal division.

Shireen Hina Asghar, currently serving as section officer at the Ministry of Interior, has been appointed as deputy secretary in the Establishment Division under Section 10 provisions.

Meanwhile, Raja Rashid Ali has been transferred from his position as joint secretary in the Establishment Division and appointed as joint secretary in the Poverty Alleviation and Social Welfare Division, completing the circular transfer pattern.
