Taylor Swift Sparks Album Rumors With Studio Visit

Taylor Swift has fueled fresh speculation about upcoming music projects after being spotted arriving at New York City's famed Electric Lady Studios. The 36-year-old singer-songwriter embraced a retro-inspired look for the outing on June 15, wearing a mustard yellow and white knitted polo sweater from close friend Gigi Hadid's fashion label, Guest in Residence.

Swift paired the top with high-waisted flared denim jeans and Gucci platform sandals, completing the outfit with gold jewelry and a leather handbag.

Her appearance at Electric Lady Studios has attracted attention because of the venue's significance in her recent recording history. The artist recorded portions of her 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department and 2023's Midnights at the legendary Manhattan studio. Founded by Jimi Hendrix in 1970, Electric Lady remains the oldest operating music production studio in New York City and has hosted recording sessions for artists including The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, and Patti Smith.

The studio visit follows a busy week of public appearances for Swift. On June 10, she attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals in New York alongside friends Mariska Hargitay, Este Haim, and Alana Haim. Days later, Swift celebrated her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The 14-time Grammy Award winner was honored on June 12 and became the youngest woman ever to receive the distinction. For consideration, she submitted songs including All Too Well (10 Minute Version), Blank Space, Anti-Hero, Love Story, and The Last Great American Dynasty. Following the ceremony, Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce were also seen attending a Broadway performance and dining together in New York City.
