Netflix's upcoming reboot of the beloved romantic comedy 13 Going on 30 has added Adeline Rudolph to its cast. The actress joins previously announced stars Emily Bader and Logan Lerman in the new adaptation.
Cast and Production Details
According to Deadline, Rudolph is set to star in the Netflix reboot, though details about her character and the film's updated storyline remain under wraps. Netflix has not officially commented on the casting news. The reboot will revisit the 2004 classic, which originally starred Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. The film followed a 13-year-old girl who magically wakes up as her 30-year-old self and must navigate adulthood while rediscovering her identity and relationships.
Jennifer Garner, who played the adult version of Jenna Rink in the original, is returning as an executive producer on the Netflix project. Production is expected to begin in Los Angeles in late June.
Creative Team
Brett Haley, known for directing Netflix's People We Meet on Vacation, will direct the reboot from a screenplay by Hannah Marks, with additional revisions by Flora Greeson. The project is being produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum through RK Films, alongside several other producers.
