BISE Rawalpindi Postpones Matriculation Exams in City Due to Weather Conditions

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has officially announced the postponement of matriculation examinations that were scheduled for April 10 in Rawalpindi city. This decision was made under the direct instructions of Commissioner and Chairman of BISE Rawalpindi, Engineer Aamir Khattak, citing weather-related concerns despite forecasts of dry conditions in most parts of the country.

Examination Centers and Affected Papers

The postponed exams were set to take place at a total of 64 examination centers spread across Rawalpindi city. According to detailed information provided by the board, the morning session included papers for Compulsory Urdu and Compulsory Urdu (Dars-e-Nizami group). In the evening session, students were supposed to appear for Compulsory Urdu and Pakistan Geography. These subjects will now be rescheduled to a later date, with the board committing to announce the new schedule separately and inform all candidates promptly.

Continuation of Exams in Other Districts

Importantly, the board has clarified that examinations in other districts within the Rawalpindi Division will proceed as per the original schedule without any changes. This means that students in areas outside Rawalpindi city should continue their preparations and attend their exams as planned, ensuring minimal disruption to the overall examination process.
