Chrysanthemum Exhibition 2025 Opens Today in Lahore

Lahore, the historic city of gardens, is once again hosting a breathtaking display of floral artistry. The much-anticipated Chrysanthemum Exhibition 2025 has been beautifully arranged at Jillani Park, with all preparations now complete for its grand public opening.

A Festival of Colour and Fragrance Officially Opens

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated today, December 4, at 7:00 pm. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is set to conduct the opening ceremony, which promises to be a vibrant event filled with colours and lights. The exhibition will remain open for the public to enjoy for one full week.

During a final inspection visit to Jillani Park, Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmed of the Parks and Horticulture Agency (PHA) Lahore confirmed the completion of all arrangements. He was accompanied by senior officials Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha and Ahmed Saeed Manj. Horticulture Director Waqar Rehman provided a comprehensive briefing on the extensive preparations.

A Spectacular Floral Display with 200 Varieties

The Oval Ground at Jillani Park has been transformed into a horticultural masterpiece. The venue is adorned with a stunning collection of 15,000 chrysanthemum plants and an equal number of marigold flowers, creating a total of 30,000 potted plants. Visitors can marvel at the beauty of over 200 different varieties of chrysanthemums, each showcasing its unique colour and form.

MD PHA Raja Mansoor Ahmed emphasized that this year's exhibition fosters a competitive atmosphere. Participants vying for top honours include:

The Snow Corner, Floral Houses, and Qafal Gate offer unique thematic experiences. For photography enthusiasts, specially designed Selfie Points and a picturesque corridor ensure perfect shots. Artistic displays like the Elite and Peacock designs, along with Mughal-style gates and carriages, add a regal touch. A central floral guard fountain serves as a stunning centerpiece.

Understanding the needs of families and groups, the organizers have also set up numerous food and beverage stalls throughout the park. Raja Mansoor Ahmed noted that these food points will help keep visitors refreshed and engaged, making the park a complete destination for a day out. The entire Jillani Park has been curated to become a captivating location for both casual visitors and serious photography lovers.
