The meeting, which was chaired by Khair Muhammad Sheikh, saw a strong consensus among traders supporting the removal of illegal encroachments. However, they stressed a crucial condition: the process must be applied on an equal basis to ensure fairness for all. The business leaders emphasized the need for a thorough review of the ongoing anti-encroachment campaign to guarantee that no one faces discrimination.
Proposals to Tackle Traffic and Beautify the City
Moving beyond encroachments, the chamber presented concrete proposals to resolve Larkana's chronic traffic problems and enhance its aesthetic appeal. A major focus was on regulating chingchis (motorcycle rickshaws) and introducing a movable system for rickshaws to improve traffic flow. Traders believe these measures are essential for reducing congestion and making the city more beautiful and orderly.

The gathering also featured a political assurance from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Tariq Anwar Sial.
