The Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR) has officially set June 12, 2026, as the final date for submitting payment claims associated with the conclusion of the financial year 2025-26. This directive was announced in a statement released on Tuesday.
Directives for Drawing and Disbursing Officers
The AGPR has instructed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to guarantee the punctual submission of cases to prevent any hold-ups in payments and financial operations. According to an official notification, all claims concerning recent procurements and services rendered must be submitted by the specified date.
Resubmission of Unapproved Claims
The notification clarifies that any unapproved claims and bills that have been issued tokens up to June 12 will need to be resubmitted by June 15, 2026. This ensures that all pending requests are properly processed before the fiscal year ends.
Assignment Accounts and Honorarium Claims
Additionally, the AGPR has announced that June 19, 2026, is the last date for submitting releases related to Assignment Accounts managed by AGPR Islamabad and its sub-offices. It has been explicitly stated that no honorarium claims will be accepted after June 12, 2026.
Off-Cycle Payments
For off-cycle payments, computer-amended statements will only be accepted up to June 11, 2026. The processing of these statements has been scheduled to continue until June 16, 2026.
Compliance and Penalties
The AGPR has urged all DDOs to adhere strictly to these timelines to facilitate smooth payment processing and year-end financial transactions. The notification also warns that salary cheques related to the current financial year will become invalid after the fiscal year closes. Furthermore, no replacement cheques for the current financial year will be issued after June 30, 2026.
All concerned offices are required to comply fully with the announced deadlines for submitting claims, bills, and payment-related documents.
