The prices of gold witnessed a notable surge in the domestic market on Friday, as the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported a significant rise in rates. The price of 24 karat gold per tola increased by Rs 4,370, settling at Rs 444,336 compared to the previous trading day's Rs 439,966.
Price Details for Different Quantities
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 3,933 to reach Rs 379,880, up from Rs 375,947. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased by Rs 3,570 to Rs 348,493, compared to Rs 344,923 previously.
International Market Trends
In the international market, gold prices also climbed, with an increase of $43.70 per ounce, reaching $4,219 from the previous $4,175.30.
Silver Prices Also Rise
Silver prices followed a similar upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs 200 to Rs 7,279 from Rs 7,079. Additionally, 10 grams of silver went up by Rs 171 to Rs 6,199, compared to Rs 6,028 earlier.
Internationally, silver prices rose by $2 per ounce, reaching $68.00, up from $66.00.
