Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant decline on Friday, mirroring losses in the global market. The price of the yellow metal fell by Rs14,900 per tola, settling at Rs438,036, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
10-Gram Gold and Silver Also Drop
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs374,205 after a decrease of Rs13,410. The international gold rate declined by $149 to reach $4,156 per ounce, with a premium of $20. Meanwhile, silver prices also fell by Rs413 per tola, reaching Rs6,946.
Previous Day's Rates
On Thursday, gold per tola was at Rs452,963 after a decline of Rs2,300 during the day. The latest drop marks a sharp correction in the local market.
