Officials emphasized that the center has been built according to modern international standards. Its primary goals are twofold: to guarantee a consistent supply of high-quality and safe meat to the public, and to act as a central hub for skill development for butchers and other workers within the meat industry.
Push for Public-Private Partnership
Issuing clear instructions during his visit, Secretary Muhammad Tahir Orakzai directed the concerned authorities to take all necessary measures to make the center operational under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. He stressed that collaboration with the private sector is essential to enhance the facility's operational efficiency and management capabilities.
